Hackers issue ‘final warning’ to Ernst and Young

After breaching London-based Ernst and Young Global Ltd.’s network, the hacking group ShinyHunters has issued a “final warning,” threatening to release all stolen data unless the accounting firm negotiates with the group by July 31, Cyber Security News reported. The hacker group allegedly stole sensitive files through a supply-chain attack involving a third-party IT support platform, including client tax documents containing names, addresses and credit and debit card details.
