Over a span of 35 years, Lisenbey transitioned from an operations supervisor in medical bill review to leading Broadspire as its president and CEO. She is credited with revitalizing the Crawford unit by transforming it into one of the company’s leading divisions, showcasing her knack for both operational management and strategic growth. A pivotal period occurred when Broadspire faced significant financial difficulties; her leadership saw the company recover from an $11.4 million operating loss in 2011, boosting revenue to $405 million by 2018.
During her tenure, she successfully consolidated multiple claims platforms and spearheaded international expansion, which included establishing a 650-person operation in the Philippines to enhance service delivery.

For Lisenbey, the transition to retirement isn't a closure but an opportunity to shape the industry’s future positively. “I might be finished in the traditional sense,” she shared, “but I have this very strong sense of still wanting to give back and have an impact.” Her dedication to encouraging emerging talent and advocating for women identifies her as not merely a leader but a lasting influence in the insurance sector.
